We are aware that when it comes to make complex models tools are never enough. The reason why we have developed a set of merge FEM modules that are able to communicate easily with a number of third party FEA packages so that a smooth team workflow can be estabilished. These modules are actually available for Sap 2000, Midas Gen, Staad v8i, AutoDesk Robot and Strand v7. The concept of this workflow is very simple, you make the supporting structure in your preferred FEA software and the memebrane in ixCube 4-10. After non-linear analysis for any number of load scenarios ixCube will load the FEA model ascii file and apply a number of loads generated by the membrane reaction forces.
